‘The workshop by Peter Sheppard Skærved was a real joy to attend. The level of enthusiasm, energy and dedication towards the new pieces was absolutely great to see. Not only does this really bring the pieces into life but it creates a relaxed atmosphere where the composers could openly discuss the details and issues with Peter. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear my piece ‘Valkea’ played by a professional violinist and a genuine musician, whilst getting the necessary feedback to hone and finish the work. I can only look forward to the composer/performer collaboration!’Joel Järventausta
