Along with works by our dear friends Sadie Harrison? and David Gorton?. With Neil Heyde. Morgan Goff?, Mihailo Trandafilovski?. I have been fascinated by Robin Holloway’s ‘Sonata’ for solo violin, written from Ernst Kovacic, for years. Recently, I started talking with this wonderful composer about his works for string quartet, and he mentioned that he was sending me an unplayed solo ‘Sonatina’. This arrived this morning, and is radiantly beautiful. This will be on my programmes very soon.
